To bad my spoiled BMW only sips the finest 91+ octane. I did get a Costco hotdog though! One of the best food bargains IMO.

I used to eat Costco hot dogs, until the day I made the mistake of looking up the nutritional info. 1.6 grams of salt? 34 g of fat! Yikes!

$2.84 at Costco in Austin last weekend. Probably lower now. I'm sure it will go back up before I drive back east for Thanksgiving.

Holy crap. I wonder how their Polish sausage ranks. I just had one last weekend. Probably still digesting it.

Here in SoCal, I filled up the Subaru last night at Costco and it cost me $3.39/gallon for regular.

Oh, and the nutrition facts posted for the Costco hot dogs are wrong. The nutrition facts for the current hot dogs are:

Swapping your rear section? If so from which to which? Too dark to tell from the picture!

w00t! I did that once to install my Dinan mufflers. The way the stock rear section hung down and blocked the view of the diff fins drove me absolutely nuts. Anyway, I did it myself and it was a royal pain in the ass. Glad you're helping a brother out! Which brand system is going on?

it was definitely a pain in the ass, but much less so with two of us doing it haha. He went with an eisenmann sport, sounds great, but I'm a sucker for Dinan mufflers!

The eisenmann is a great system too. You almost can't go wrong with any aftermarket system on the E9X M3. The stock one is just SO quiet that literally any other exhaust sounds significantly better. Now, choosing the sound you like BEST among all the available options is the hard part. Do you go for a super refined F1-type wail? Do you go for a big, bassy muscle car roar? The struggle is real =)

Yes! It's tough to make the car sound bad, but picking which sound you like the most is the tough part!

It's not a bad problem to have haha, the OEM performance exhaust is a great choice, but a savvy owner could find something similar for much less money.

Oh yeah - the real danger is paying way too much for whatever you get. My Dinan was used and I paid either $1000 or 1100, I don't remember exactly. They're $2400 new!!! It's nice, but it's not THAT nice. The M Performance exhaust, while made of fancy metal, just isn't worth 4 grand or whatever they want for it. Completely insane. And don't even get me started on the Akrapovic titanium system...beautiful, but at no point in my life do I see myself being ok with spending 7 grand on an exhaust for a BMW.

Yeah, if you shop around and even go used on M3post/M3forum/E90post, you can find some great deals. I'm planning on picking up a set of 219m's for my 328i soon and I'm probably gonna only end up spending $800ish depending on shipping. Used N52 performance exhaust, maybe another $700. The akrapovic system is sex to my eyes, but I would never find myself spending that mich on an exhaust.. That's almost supercharger money!
